AAA Texas: What to Do If Your Vehicle Is Flooded
AAA Texas gave advice Wednesday morning on Houston’s Morning Show when it comes to dealing with a flooded vehicle. Spokesperson Joshua Zuber said
- It’s best to not start the vehicle
- Have it towed
- Contact your insurance company
- Take it to a qualified mechanic
The problem with flood water is it can get into every crack and crevice of the car. That can lead to immediate issues with the vehicle’s preformance and whether the it is even safe to drive down the road.
